Village Tavern

The Mr. made reservations. We arrived a few minutes early but were still immediately seated. I never knew a restaurant could make vegetables taste so good. I ordered the spaghetti squash and zucchini (cauliflower, broccoli, roasted red peppers, pine nuts & parmesan in a plum tomato sauce...CHEF'S KISS). The Mr ordered the maple glazed pork chop (garlic mashed potatoes, apple chutney and green beans). We also ordered the spring rolls for the appetizer (sorry we ate most of it before I took the picture). Kameron was very helpful with the drink recommendations. We both ordered the strawberry citrus paloma. We were too full for dessert and had plenty to take home for leftovers. Would definitely recommend to family and friends 10/10 !

It is a great place, pricey, but definitely worth the money. Service is top notch as well. As we were leaving there was an elderly woman in front of us, and we heard a server speak into their mic and alert the front to open the door. Small details i know, but made it nice to see. Chicken sandwich is to die for as well as almost everything else on the menu. Highly recommend the sweet potato fries and mac and cheese.

We had a lovely Saturday lunch on the patio. The atmosphere was cozy, the service was excellent, and the food was flavorful and satisfying. With a variety of options for all, Village Tavern is a perfect spot for a relaxed, delicious meal.

Excellent service, food, and atmosphere. I came for lunch and was told a 25 minute wait. It only took 10-12 minutes. Everyone was so polite. I ordered the BBQ Chicken Pizza and it was DELICIOUS!

The service here is phenomenal! Emily was amazing Excellent servers with pleasant smiles. Our food was great. Got the tavern nachos as appetizer with beef & chicken. Got shrimp & grits & fish & chips. All perfectly cooked and presented. Drinks were prime to peak. Bar was packed with happy customers

Village Tavern is a classic! Various photos from our many visits. This is a monthly treat for family gatherings, a special occasion, or to catch up with old friends. They have an open kitchen and great service. There's plenty of great alcohol choices, during and after cafe choices, and the presentation is always stellar.

Had dinner last night on our way to some business about an hour south of here. Was thoroughly satisfied with my meal and the service was top-notch. We did have to wait 45 minutes but we were told it would be 45 minutes and that’s as long as it took, not a minute more. We are back here again tonight and I hope that I will be able to sample their prime rib. It looked absolutely incredible last night, but they were sold out by the time we got in, although it was very late and completely excusable. The beet salad was absolutely phenomenal, at least in the top three salads I have ever eaten in any restaurant anywhere in my life. Here we are a year later, and stopped in the village Tavern on our way to a business trip and had another fantastic dinner. The prime rib is nothing short of phenomenal, being smoked and slow roasted for 24 hours, it was so tender that I could cut it with a fork. I seriously do think it’s the best prime rib I’ve ever had anywhere and I’ve eaten prime rib 500 times over the years. Lizze was our server and she did an awesome job, everything was there within 2 minutes of asking. I wish EVERY dining experience was as good as the Village Tavern in Winston. It’s now my favorite restaurant in the US.

Wow is all I can say! Travis was our waiter and he was outstanding! the food was great! This is probably the highest rating I've ever given.
